  1. Hi Abby

Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey for the 2018 summer. My name is Allie and I am the cluster manager for Toki Pounamu. I will be commenting on your blog over the summer.

You have made a fantastic start to the programme. Well done!

We live in an amazing country with so many cool things to see and do.

You can see why we are called a clean green country when 30% of our land it covered in trees.
I really like that we are call kiwis! I think that this makes us really unique around the world. Everyone knows exactly where you come from when you say you are a kiwi. And its cool to be named after such a cute bird.
Have you seen a kiwi in real life? They are very cute.

Remember when you are posting to make your posts and comments at least 3 sentences long and must be in your own words. Also you need to attribute any photos that you post. I will put a link below if you copy and paste it into your browser it will show you how to do this.

  2. Hello Abby,
I am Vitaraag. I did not know 30 percent of New Zealand was forest. These questions are simple yet complicated. Maybe next time you can say some facts about New Zealand first. Keep up the phenomenal work!
