Crossing The Tasman

Finally here,

Love being on the ground,

I thought we would never make it,

Got to get through this enormous crowd,

Hurry to the nearest cafe yum this food is so good

To tired I'm going home

  1. Hey Abby!

This is such a great poem! I think it was smart to do a FLIGHT acrostic poem.
I also really like the lines "Finally here, Love being on the ground"
I think if I was on that flight I would most definitely thinking about food and sleep too :) it sounded like a very stressful situation!
This is a really thoughtful poem Abby, great job at putting yourself in the shoes of those on the flight!

Keep it up Abby, you are doing great!

  2. Kia ora Abby,

My name is Emiely (pronounced "Emily") and along with Ellee, I am another blogger at the Summer Learning Journey. I was scrolling through your blog and thought that I should stop and comment on this awesome poem of yours! I like the way you have made the first letter of each word in bold so that the word "FLIGHT" stands out and people will realise it is an acrostic poem. Maybe you could make it a different colour too so it will stand out even more. :)

I really enjoy flying to different cities and countries. Have you ever been on a plane before? What was your experience like?

I can't wait to hear from you. Keep up the great blogging!

    Noho ora mai,

    Emiely :)
